1. Not all sharks need salt water, though I THINK the whale shark does, also many sharks start out as babies and juviniles in fresh water then move to a salt-water environment later, that is why the mouth of the Mississsippi is such a successful breeding ground for many different species of salt-water sharks.
2. The lack of whiskers and spotted/stripe patterns on the fish match the appearance of a whale shark, it may be circumstantial evidence, but is evidence, nonethless.
3. Whale sharks generally eat plankton, but also eat spiecies of brine, shrimp, and the afore mention critters, this is no overnight change, these gentle giants have been doing it for centuries.
4.Catfish DO grow to these sizes, but I doubt they completely change in appearance to so closely resemble a whale shark.
5. If we are considering that they are lying about what the fish is doesn't it stand to reason that they would lie about where it came from or the "human remains" found inside? Why question part of the story and treat the rest as gospel?

How would I go about purchasing the right to use one of your photos on my home page? The website listed above is under reconstruction by a different company. The photo on the current web site was taken by me in Hawaii many years ago. I want to create a mood of light beaming down (or up), but mine is too dark a photo. A friend directed me to your site and I saw a couple of possibilities that would create that feeling.

Thank you and God bless,
